💰 Competitive Salary ($130,000-$150,000) + Commission & Equity




As Director of Business Development, you will be focused on selling and expanding this company’s core product offerings into mid-large and emerging life science accounts across the United States. You will be responsible for prospecting contacts, generating leads and closing new business.




A healthcare analytics company that delivers real-world evidence for the manufacturers, purchasers, and regulators of medical treatments and technologies. Their RWE Platform analysesdata from the real world to produce transparent, rapid, and scientifically validated answers on safety, effectiveness, and value.




What you will do:

Develop a strategy and account plan to position this company’s offering as a preferred technology provider in R&D, RWE & commercial audiences.
Generate revenue through new and existing relationships with small, medium and large pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline, owning large complex sales cycle from start to finish.
Work cross-functionally with product and marketing to reshape deals and customise solutions to solve client challenges.
Overachieve on pipeline generation and quota targets.
Become a consultative subject matter expert for customers and their pain points.



Who you are:

You are a consultative seller, comfortable prospecting new logos but also maintaining long-lasting relationships.
Have 5+ years’ experience selling SaaS related technology solutions.
Comfortable in an environment with C-Suite executives at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.




3+ years of experience in quota carrying role selling complex solutions leveraging healthcare data, analytics, and/or SaaS technology to life science companies.
Been an integral part of a start-up or growth-phase organisation scaling their solution from early stage to market fit, understand how to maximise sales with fewer available resources.
Familiar with the commercial pharmaceutical SaaS environment and a working understanding of how and why different types of healthcare data are created to support pharmaceutical clients through the product lifecycle.
Willingness to travel.
