Interested in joining an exciting, innovative medical device startup leading the charge in transforming healthcare practices through the development of digital pathology tools and technologies for clinical care, research and medical education?
With current installations across the globe, the team is rapidly expanding their North American operations, and are looking for an integration architect to lead the software deployment activities from anywhere in the United States with their North American customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory information systems, HL7, single-sign on and medical imaging and will work within a team of >20 engineers to lead deployments with our customers.
👨💻 Responsibilities:
- Flexible Role Adaptation: Ability to step into various roles as required, providing insights, analysis, and tasks proactively.
- To communicate the best solutions to our customers, with experience leading software development life cycle activities through Agile, Scrum Models, and JIRA.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take comprehensive responsibility for developing architectural proposals that fit within the pre-existing architecture of our partners.
- Security, and Compliance: Ensure that our installations adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance.
- Lead and mentor the integration technology team as well as the software engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

👩🎓Qualifications:
- Experience: University Degree with at least 7 years in healthcare IT with a solid background in leadership. Proven track record of meeting tight schedules.
- Led either 7 managers directly or a minimum of 30 engineers indirectly
- Has done public speaking in the past
- Worked with either PACS, digital pathology, radiology or imaging
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated understanding of Java Spring Boot, C-Sharp or ASP Core, VUE JS or React or Angular, HL7 and single sign on integrations.
- Knowledge to design relational database systems with a proven ability to diagnose and evaluate system failures and determine effectiveness of database systems (including DML/DDL, stored procedures, Trigger etc.).
- Expertise in architecting and implementing Azure Service Offering, such as Azure cloud services, Azure storage, Azure Active Directory (AD), AzureResource Manager (ARM), Azure Storage, Azure, Blob Storage, Azure VMs, MySQLDatabase, Azure Functions, and AzureService Bus or similar in AWS lambda
- Collaborative Spirit: Effective communication skills with a focus on teamwork. Eagerness to liaise with team members and the broader organization for seamless collaboration.
- Best Practices: Understanding of security, compliance, and best practices in the healthcare industry.
⭐ Bonus:
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (e.g. EPIC Beaker) or,
- Prior experience with DICOM
