The company is looking to expand their Legal team by adding a General Legal Counsel that has experience with health plans and contracts.

     

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Experience in Healthcare Technology sectors.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally in a start-up environment.
    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    •  7+ years of legal experience, preferably in HealthTech environment.
    • Strong understanding of contracts with health plans, employers, and brokerages.
    • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Proven track record of providing sound legal advice and support to senior management.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
    • Manage and oversee the legal department and work with the external lawyers.
    • Provide expert legal advice on a variety of matters, including corporate governance, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and litigation.
    • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
    • Assist in risk management and compliance initiatives.
    • Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations when necessary.
