    This role is centered on managing the financial operations of a company, ensuring precise financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and overseeing a robust system of internal controls. The individual in this position will be responsible for producing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and minimizing risk through effective controls.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the accounting team in delivering accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring all reporting meets regulatory and company standards.
    • Oversee the month-end close process, including reviewing accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and analyzing monthly financial results.
    • Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements. Handle the integration of feedback from executives, auditors, and legal counsel.
    • Maintain and monitor the system of internal controls, including managing audits to ensure compliance with established procedures.
    • Oversee the commission payment process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Analyze and execute complex accounting and financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Supervise and guide accounting staff, ensuring that all monthly and quarterly tasks are completed efficiently. Provide training and development as needed.
    • Work closely with international finance teams to consolidate and report financial results across multiple entities and currencies.
    • Manage two direct reports, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

     

    Key Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate or public accounting.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
    • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing SEC filings, including quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K reports.
    • Strong ability to identify and communicate accounting issues clearly and effectively to various stakeholders across the organization.
    • Experience working in a complex accounting environment with multiple entities and currencies.
    • Familiarity with JD Edwards or a comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
    • Experience with Workiva Wdesk is advantageous.

    Your Role:

    Our client is seeking a dynamic engineering leader to develop and expand their technology infrastructure, and to create top-tier products that enhance the experience of clinicians, patients, and internal operations.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Act as both a strategic leader and hands-on engineer, developing and managing the company’s technology stack within a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Lead the architecture, design, and development of internal tools to streamline data-driven clinical operations.
    • Build and refine clinician-facing and patient-facing tools to enhance clinical care quality, efficiency, and user experience.
    • Develop and optimize the data stack to track, analyze, and report key metrics for clinical and operational decision-making.
    • Manage API-based integrations to ensure smooth data interoperability and platform communication.
    • Articulate the technology roadmap, vision, and functionality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Who You Are:

    • 4+ years of experience in full-stack development for user-centric, data-driven applications from inception to scale.
    • 2+ years of leadership experience or collaboration within a high-growth engineering team.
    • Proven expertise in defining technical requirements and system architecture, with clear understanding of feasibility, time, cost, and impact.
    • Experience managing and configuring IT infrastructure in a cloud-based environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
    • Proficiency in API development and integrations.
    • Experience in both frontend and backend development preferred.
    • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant software products is a plus, but not required.
    • Skilled in performing code reviews and assessing system architecture and database structures.
    • Experience in a startup environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
