About the Role
As VP of Sales, youβll own the go-to-market strategy, execution, and expansion of our genomics and proteomics solutions across pharma, biotech, academic, and clinical research markets. Youβll build and lead a high-performance sales team, develop key strategic accounts, and work cross-functionally to drive revenue, market penetration, and customer success.
This role is onsite in San Francisco, reporting to the CEO and collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, and Scientific teams.
What Youβll Do

Sales Leadership: Define and lead commercial strategy for genomics and proteomics solutions in both domestic and international markets

Team Building: Hire, coach, and manage a team of sales reps, enterprise AEs, and regional account managers

Strategic Accounts: Personally lead and close high-value partnerships with biopharma, diagnostics, and research institutions

Revenue Growth: Own top-line sales metrics, pipeline development, forecasting, and performance against aggressive growth targets

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and scientific leadership to align go-to-market messaging and refine value propositions

Customer Voice: Bring market insights and customer feedback into product and business strategy conversations

Sales Ops & Enablement: Build the sales infrastructure, tools, and processes needed to scale efficiently and effectively

Market Expansion: Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, partnerships, and global growth strategies
What You Bring
-
10+ years of sales experience in genomics, proteomics, life sciences tools, or biopharma services
-
5+ years in sales leadership roles with a track record of scaling teams and exceeding revenue goals

Deep understanding of molecular biology, NGS, multiomics, or proteomics technologies and applications
-
Experience selling to pharma, biotech, and research customers at the C-suite and lab levels

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence

Strategic thinker with a hands-on, metrics-driven approach to team leadership

Passion for innovation, science, and building from the ground up

Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco and travel as needed (~25%)
