As we scale, weβre looking for a strategic and hands-on VP of Clinical Operations to lead the next phase of our clinical programs.
About the Role
As VP of Clinical Operations, you’ll be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of our clinical delivery models. Youβll work cross-functionally with Product, Data, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure our clinical programs are scalable, compliant, patient-centric, and outcomes-driven.
This is an onsite role based in NYCβideal for a leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment and wants to be deeply embedded with the team.
What Youβll Do

Build & Scale Clinical Programs: Lead the design and execution of scalable clinical operations aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Team Development: Hire, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary clinical operations team, including nurses, physicians, and support staff.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams to integrate clinical workflows into tech-enabled platforms.

Compliance & Quality Oversight: Ensure all clinical activities are HIPAA-compliant and meet applicable standards (e.g., NCQA, URAC, CMS).

Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee relationships with third-party providers, clinical networks, and technology partners.

Operational Excellence: Optimize clinical workflows, implement performance KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Clinical Strategy: Contribute to company-level strategic planning, representing the voice of clinical operations at the leadership table.

Patient Experience: Drive exceptional member outcomes and experience through thoughtful, efficient clinical service delivery.
What You Bring

10+ years of experience in clinical operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within healthtech, digital health, or healthcare services.

Deep knowledge of clinical delivery models, especially virtual/hybrid care or tech-enabled services.

Proven success scaling clinical teams and operations in a high-growth environment.

Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, quality, and safety regulations.

Operational mindset with experience building SOPs, workflows, and metrics from scratch.

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Clinical credentials (RN, NP, MD, or similar) are a strong plus but not required.

Passion for building in a startup environment and directly improving patient outcomes.
