⚡ Manager, Commercial Engagement – Life Sciences
🌍 New York City (On-site, 5 days per week)
    💲 $130 – $160k Base Salary + Equity + Benefits

    The Company

Storm3’s client is an early-stage HealthTech company building AI-powered software for pharmaceutical commercial teams. Their platform helps life sciences organizations manage content creation, review, and deployment more efficiently, reducing the bottlenecks that slow down commercial execution.
Over the last year they’ve expanded rapidly across the pharmaceutical market and now support dozens of brands across large biopharma organizations and emerging biotech companies. The business is well-funded, growing quickly, and still small enough that individual contributions materially shape the company’s direction.

    The Role

This isn’t a traditional customer success role, account management role, or consulting role, although there are elements of all three.
You’ll act as the primary commercial partner to pharmaceutical and biotech clients, helping them navigate complex promotional strategies while also ensuring execution happens. The person in this seat is expected to influence senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions when necessary, and translate ambiguous business problems into clear recommendations.
What makes the opportunity interesting is the level of ownership. There is no long chain of escalation and no hand-off between strategy and delivery. You’ll be expected to develop a point of view, align stakeholders around it, and then make sure the work gets done.
The company is particularly interested in candidates who have come from rigorous consulting or strategy environments and enjoy operating where there isn’t always a predefined playbook. Pharma experience is helpful, but not essential. Their view is that commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management are harder to teach than industry knowledge.
The environment is fast-paced and demanding. It suits people who enjoy being close to decision-making, are comfortable managing competing priorities, and want exposure across client engagement, product strategy, operations, and business development rather than staying within a narrowly defined function.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or a similarly analytical client-facing environment
    • Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships
    • Strong problem-structuring and strategic thinking capabilities
    • Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clear recommendations
    • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally across multiple stakeholder groups
    • Strong operational and project management skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Commercial mindset with an interest in life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical marketing
    • Comfortable working in a high-accountability, high-growth environment

    Responsibilities

    • Own strategic relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients
    • Lead client conversations and serve as the primary point of contact
    • Develop recommendations and commercial strategies for brand teams
    • Design messaging frameworks and strategic options for client consideration
    • Manage campaign execution, review processes, and promotional workflows
    • Coordinate with agency partners and internal stakeholders
    • Drive asset delivery and operational project management activities
    • Partner with product teams to provide client-driven feedback and influence roadmap priorities
    • Support broader company initiatives across commercial operations, business development, and strategy
    • Help build and scale the commercial engagement function as the company grows

    Benefits

    • $130 – $160k Base Salary
    • Equity package
    • Health, dental, and vision insurance
    • Unlimited PTO
    • 401(k) with company match

Founding Software Engineer (Full Stack, TypeScript)

New York City (Hybrid) | $130K–$200K Base + Significant Equity

Storm3 is partnering with a venture-backed healthcare technology startup that is building the intelligence layer for healthcare decision-making.

Having recently raised Seed Money, the company is tackling one of healthcare’s biggest challenges: transforming fragmented, unstructured healthcare data into actionable insights that improve outcomes and drive better business decisions. They’re looking for an ambitious Founding Software Engineer who wants to join early, ship quickly, and help shape both the product and engineering culture from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded startup at an inflection point, working directly alongside founders and key stakeholders while owning critical technical initiatives.

    The Opportunity

As a Founding Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building core product functionality and helping define the technical foundation of the company. You’ll have broad ownership across the stack, touching everything from backend architecture and frontend development to data pipelines, infrastructure, analytics, and AI-powered workflows.

The ideal candidate is a startup-minded builder who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving difficult data problems, and wants meaningful ownership over both product and technical direction.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop, test, and deploy production-ready features from day one.
    • Build across the full stack using modern TypeScript technologies.
    • Work on backend services, frontend applications, infrastructure, analytics, and third-party integrations.
    • Design and maintain data models and pipelines that transform complex healthcare datasets into actionable insights.
    • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
    • Own problems end-to-end, from discovery through deployment and iteration.
    • Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
    • Influence product strategy, user experience, engineering processes, and company culture as an early employee.
    • Leverage modern AI coding tools and workflows to maximize engineering productivity.

    What We’re Looking For

    Required

    • 2+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
    • Strong experience with:
      • TypeScript
      • React
      • Node.js
    • Backend-leaning engineering background.
    • Experience building and shipping production applications.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
    • Authorized to work in the United States.
    • Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment (4 days per week in Union Square, NYC).

    Preferred

    • Previous experience at a venture-backed startup, ideally pre-Series B.
    • Healthcare, fintech, or highly regulated industry experience.
    • Experience working with complex or unstructured datasets.
    • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code.
    • Experience with LLMs, AI tooling, and cloud-based data pipelines.
    • Heavy user of modern engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and AI-assisted development workflows.

    Why Join?

    • Help build a category-defining healthcare technology company from an early stage.
    • Significant ownership and autonomy.
    • Direct access to company leadership and key strategic decisions.
    • Opportunity to shape engineering culture and technical direction.
    • Fast-moving environment with minimal bureaucracy.
    • Mission-driven work that has tangible real-world impact.
    • Meaningful equity alongside a competitive cash compensation package.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base Salary: $130,000 – $200,000
      • Mid-level, Senior, and exceptional Principal-level candidates will be considered.
    • Competitive equity package.
    • Fully covered health insurance.
    • Additional healthcare stipend (ICHRA) for dental, copays, and related expenses.
